Please join us in making a difference. Larry Horwitz and the Water's Edge Event Centre's WE GIVE campaign is raising money to benefit WALKERVILLE EVANGELICAL BAPTIST CHURCH, and any donation will help make an impact. The 107-year-old church in Walkerville, Ontario, Canada burned to the ground after an accidental fire on October 28th. The choir was in attendance at the time but everyone escaped unhurt. Pastor Tom Perry is grateful that no parishioners, neighbours or emergency personnel were injured in fighting a blaze made extra challenging by high winds, “Praise God that nobody got hurt.”
The church will rebuild and funds are needed for construction as well as furnishings and musical instruments. The church was home to a vibrant choir and band and all instruments and sheet music were destroyed.
