Rebuild the community of Mallacoota

In 2011 a group of us went to Australia on a performing arts tour with our school. We were warmed by the hearts, community and kindness from the people of Mallacoota. They welcomed us into their homes, looking after us and ensuring we felt comforted whilst on our big tour of Australia.
Nearly a decade on and devastation has struck, caused by deadly bush fires. Many of the people who we deeply care about have had their beautiful piece of the world destroyed. Some have lost their homes, their schools and work places. Sadly ‘Happy New Year’ seems like a sour joke. What a way to end 2019 and to start 2020!
My friends and I would like to share this to raise money for those affected. We have set the target as £500 but wouldn’t it be great if we could send them more? Please help to rebuild their community. Any donations will be sent to ‘Mallacoota fundraising group’ and would be greatly appreciated.
