Hi, I’m Holly, mother to 3 children with my ex husband and dear friend, Armando. On March 25th I received a call that no one wants. A fire had destroyed Armando’s home. He bravely re-entered the house to salvage our youngest sons wheelchair (Xavier has level 5 athetoid cerebral palsy and refractory epilepsy)

and the keys to his modified vehicle and watched the fire engulf the rest of his belongings.

Returning the next day, we soon discovered that nothing was salvageable. We lost Xav’s hoist, bath, standing frame and all other support aids. A years worth of continence aids, all his medication, clothes - the list is endless.

Armando and the kids now have no home to return to. The fire took everything, including the cats, but spared my family.

My aim is to raise funds to help Armando gain a suitable rental, furniture and other necessary belongings to start over.
