Tragic Fire at Malco’s Buxton Meats
We are heartbroken to share that a devastating fire has destroyed our historic barn, originally built in the 1890s. This barn wasn’t just a shelter for our animals — it was the heart of our farm, filled with generations of hard work, memories, and dedication.
In the fire, we lost livestock, equipment, tractors, and animal pens. Our remaining livestock are now without a home.
We are deeply grateful to our neighbor and hero, who bravely ran into the burning barn to open the gates and pens, saving many of our sheep, goats, cattle, and chickens. His quick action prevented an even greater tragedy.
Our community has always been our strength, and we thank everyone who has reached out to offer support during this difficult time.
If it’s in your heart to donate, we would be deeply grateful. But just as important to us are your prayers and well wishes for our family, our animals, and the future of Malco’s Buxton Meats.
Thank you all for your love and support during this heartbreaking time.
