This is the day my son Chris and CJ my grandson lost their home due to Hurricane Harvey. He lives in League City, TX very close to the Kemah Boardwalk. Their subdivision, Bayridge, was not in a flood zone so he has no flood insurance.
Chris has a heart problem. He has had multiple surgery's and has an artificial valve and a pacemaker. Despite all this he works full time as a teacher and father. He never slows down. Right now he is helping his neighbors gut their homes as well as his own. They need food water and building supplies. I am Gail Wells Chris's mother. I live in Tennessee now but lived in Houston for 20 years while Chris was growing up. All funds will be used to rebuild his home and keep them fed. Thank you for reading this.
