Help Dan and Vi’s employees during fire rebuild

Dan and Vis has been serving detroit since 1963, throughout it all our community has made us stronger. We believe our Dan and vi’s family symbolizes the great beauty and authenticity of our city. It’s always been family here, we serve 500 costumers a day and almost everyone we know by name, our vendors bring us sweet treats, and people just stop in to say hello. Unfortunately with heavy hearts we come with the news that Dan and vi’s caught fire late Wednesday night, our motto has been through this time “like a Phoenix we will rise”, we know that the bones of our building are Detroit strong and we will be back!! Throughout the last 12 hours of cleaning up the ashes we had family(our costumers) come from all over to lend helping hands, stories of their memories, tears and laughter. We were reminded of why this building, this community, and this family we’ve built with all of you is so special. With tears in our eyes we are humbled by your love, you are the reason our doors have stayed open and you are the reason they will reopen, we cannot wait to serve you again soon.
This go fund me has been started to support our employees while we rebuild and to continue our fundraiser to give Christmas to families in the community this holiday season.
