Rebuild a Casa for the Moya-Limo Family

Donation protected
Hi Friends,

This year has been a wild one for us all. (Huge Understatement)

My prayer has been on unity, empathy, and compassion to reign over the chaos.

In the midst of this chaotic time my Peruvian Family; Nina, her son Juan, and her daughters Brenda, Yackorry and Patti have overcome being sick from Covid-19 and then had their house collapse. Thankfully nobody was hurt, but they don’t have a house! Can you imagine not having a home right now?

This family holds a special place in my heart because when I was there in 2014 (and many times after that) I became near death sick due to an exacerbation of my autoimmune disease, Ulcerative Colitis. I could not eat, or even drink water without going to the bathroom. I lost 40lbs and at the height was going to the bathroom around 30 times per day with bloody diarrhea and at times just straight blood. I could not sleep more than an hour and had terrible abdominal pain. I ended up getting an emergency flight back to the US and was immediately hospitalized.

The Moya-Limo family (Denice included) saw that I was hungry and gave me something to eat, they saw that I was thirsty and gave me something to drink, they saw that I was sick and looked after me (Mathew 25:31-46). Without them I may not be here today.

All this to simply say, I could never thank them enough.

Right now I am finishing construction on a tiny house for my company Katapult Engineering and feel called back to Peru to help rebuild Nina and her family’s home.

If you are able to bless this family financially 100% of your money will go towards building materials and the Moya-Limo family. I plan to travel there for Yackorry’s wedding and help with construction later in November-early December.

Thank you for considering contributing to a family that creates unity, empathy and compassion by the example of their lives. Their home has always been a welcoming home filled with laughter and incredible food! You get to be a part of restoring that, so thank you.

35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
