ReBecca Graves Memorial

ReBecca Sue Graves left this world on June 17th 2017 from heart complications at Genesis Illini in Silvis, IL. ReBecca was my mother, she was the reason the sun rose in the morning as it was always eager to greet her smiling face. She meant a great deal to a lot of people, including her friends, family and a person she would have met five minutes before. She had that affect on people, an instant love for her charm and wit. Though she was always cheerful, she was also hurting. She struggled with Leukemia for 9 years, it overtook her life with constant doctors visits, procedures and trips to the hospital. Because of this we were accustomed to her being sick or in the hospital. This is why on the night of June 16th when we all got the text saying Becky was in the hospital, we all sent back, see you tomorrow in Iowa City! Yet this is not what happened. We got the shock of our lives that next morning when she was gone. This unexpected departure alotted Becky no time to save any money as her finances had been depleated from years of medical bills. My Brother and I are struggling to pay the funeral expenses as he owns a new business and I just graduated from college so we are both financially exhaused. If there is any amount of money that anyone could contribute, it would be extremely appreciated.
