Those who know me know that I never ask for anything, and I always act as if everything is going great. Well, it is except my hearing is failing me.
After a life of loud music , construction noise and other things have finally taken a toll on my hearing.
It's affecting my quality of life and soon will probably affect my job.
I have Insurance which only covers about 1/2 of one device every 5 yrs. And has to be paid in advance before Insurance will kick in. Both of my ears are failing. And with the covid and masks, I'm having an even harder time understanding people becuase I rely on reading lips to help my hear.
I never want to ask for help, but I cannot afford to do this on my own. And I hate having to ask friends and family for help, but this is what it has come down to. I'm sure people are as tired as I am from me having to repeatedly ask them what? Or huh?
Anything that anyone can do to help will be greatly appreciated.
