Help our rapid-response team support communities affected by Hurricane Florence!
2017 was the worst Atlantic hurricane season on record. It overwhelmed the capabilities of everyone - families, communities and our public and private organizations. We need to come together now.
Your donation can help us prepare and respond to support families, small & medium businesses, houses of worship - the foundation of our communities. A contribution of any amount ($25, $100, $500, $1000) toward our goal of $25,000 will be used to support the following:
1. Volunteer efforts to support response for families, small & medium businesses, and houses of worship.
2. Volunteer efforts to facilitate private sector led disaster response efforts, in coordination with government.
Funding will be used to pay for response needs of those affected, cloud computing services, stipend for volunteers, and rapid response deployment (if needed).

What did we learn last year? A key observation is that the government is limited in capabilities, while individuals, companies, and private entities own 85% of our nation's infrastructure.
Its time that we embrace this reality and begin to lay the groundwork to saves lives, get the economy stabilized, and reduce impacts of disasters through partnership with the American public, private sector and government. This includes focusing heavily on building a culture that prepares families, small & medium businesses and houses of worship, and one that embraces the role that industry has in restoring power, water, communications, transportation, healthcare systems, public safety, etc.
This campaign is simple: We are inviting you to help our communities prepare and respond to disasters, and help facilitate more effective private sector led emergency response coordination to support Planet Ready's efforts to support this cause. Your contribution of $100, $500, or $1000 would go a long way! Last hurricane season, our team of volunteers helped to assemble vital information that enabled life-sustaining decisions through a web platform at ppp.trustedops.com . Tens of thousands of people used the information to monitor progress and coordinate actions.
In addition, our team of volunteers created an online hurricane preparedness exercise that can be completed in just 10 minutes by families, small & medium businesses and houses of worship. Tens of thousands have already responded to this invitation, but millions more need to get prepared - so please act now. Now is the time to act. You can help us maintain a volunteer driven operation by donating to cover some of the basic minimum expenses of supporting an operation like this with a team of volunteers.
We invite individual & families, businesses, nonprofits and public organizations to contribute any amount to help us ramp up support and raise $25,000 to prepare and respond to several tropical storm systems active in both the Atlantic and Pacific oceans.
