Reach the Stars Astronomy at FHS
Donation protected
Students across generations share the curiosity of the wonders of space. This campaign aims to bring a quality astronomy program to Freedom High School. Currently, the school has one 1983 scope that has been fixed many times and no longer has serviceable parts available.
Our rebooted program will have two components - teacher-led parent/student sky watch nights, and student-led outreach to the middle schools that feed Freedom High School. This initial campaign will purchase: one 8 inch Celestron (computer guided) and two 4 inch Celestron (computer guided) in addition to my personal 127SLT, as well as related accessories and will then raise funds for additional astronomy infrastructure. Thank you for your contribution and for following our campaign.
