Reach 1 Teach 1 Goal to 100

"Reach one teach one goal to 100" is a youth initiative to mentor 100 youth with 100 mentors. Growing up I was always interested in using my hands and staying active. Either i'd be fixing things, creating art, play sports, writing poetry, playing drums, hand dancing, working/learning trades, or photography.  I was giving access to all different kind of programs after school. These programs where normally on school property and a selected few in our community centers. The ones in the community normally related the most to me because it was programs I could be apart with my childhood friends and community mentors. Some of my mentors would allow me to work weekends with them on construction jobs.  After I graduated high school I decided to enter trade school. Trade school changed my life because I was able to be around people that shared a common goal or interest like the community and after school programs. My goal is to create an alternative learning space for our youth in 2021. This will be a space where children can acquire unique and educational techniques to help them learn from a creative approach  for free. Using a variety of programs we will allow our children to select what interest them and teach around their program selections. Each youth will select programs based on four areas. Reading and writing, math and science, art and technology, business and adequate.
