“Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some people move our souls to dance. They awaken us to a new understanding with the passing whisper of their wisdom. Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon. They stay in our lives for awhile, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never, ever the same.”
~Flavia Weedn~

Friends and family, I ask for your support to rally around Carter and Debbie Bickford. They are facing a difficult time in their life, as Carter is experiencing health complications. I am sure each one of us can remember a time when Carter and Debbie touched your life. For me, my childhood best friend’s family became my own “second family”.

Carter and Debbie have always been the first to step up and help those in need. It is time we shower them with the support and love they gracefully provided others throughout the years.

Carter and Debbie have been married 30 years and built a wonderful life together. As you can imagine, being away from each other can only bring sadness to their hearts. Debbie drives two hours one way from Happy Camp, California to Medford, Oregon. Due to the care required for Carter at this time, he must remain in a Skilled Nursing Facility. Carter and Debbie have remained humble and faced this challenging time in their life with minimal support since January. Debbie, as most of us know she should have the nickname “superwoman”, has been the sole caretaker of Carter. At this time, she has depleted FMLA, sick and vacation time, to be by Carter’s side. Debbie’s daily extensive driving has not only worn her out, but the primary vehicle she utilized.

Please help Carter and Debbie by donating and sharing this fundraising page. We know how special these two are. It is a time in their life we all need to lift them up and provide support to ensure Debbie does not have to worry about travel expense, vehicle maintenance, living expense, cut wages from work as she is with Carter, etc.

When Debbie was asked her favorite verse in the bible regarding service, her reply...............John 13:34
”A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another."

Let us show Carter and Debbie how much we love them!!!
