RCSI in support of Türkiye & Syria

Laura Mc is organizing this fundraiser to benefit Irish Red Cross.  
We join the global community in offering our solidarity and support for the people of Türkiye and Syria as they contend with the humanitarian crisis caused by the recent devastating earthquakes. We are particularly mindful of our students and staff from Türkiye and Syria, who we have been in contact with and will provide support or assistance at this worrying time.

Friday, 24 February, I invite our RCSI community to come together in support of those impacted by the earthquake for a fundraising coffee morning. All funds raised will be in aid of the Irish Red Cross Türkiye and Syria Earthquake emergency appeal. The coffee morning will take place between 11am–12pm in Remedy Café with parallel fundraisers for staff and students in 26 York Street and RCSI Beaumont on the day.

For those who cannot attend in person I encourage you to arrange a virtual coffee morning with your team.
It has been incredibly difficult to watch as the aftermath of the earthquake unfolds. We hope that by coming together next Friday we can make a small difference in the lives of those who need it most.
