Who we are:
Red Roses Creative Enrichment Program, Inc. (RCEP) is a 501c(3) non-profit organization based out of Los Angeles, California. Our name was suggested by one of our own students, inspired by the bouquet of red roses one receives after a performance or big accomplishment.
What we do:
We provide access to opportunities for creative enrichment, empowerment, and a safe space, currently through arts education programming. Our goal is to make the arts accessible to all, financially and in terms of safe space.
Each faculty member is an active artist in their respective fields giving eager students professional connections and performance experiences outside of the program. Alumni of RCEP's programming have been invited to callbacks at the Hollywood Bowl, accepted to private high schools, and continue to give back to their peers as volunteers in our program.
Where does your contribution go?
Your donation goes directly to our programming and supports a child's artistic expression and learning experience:
- sheet music, instrument repairs, equipment for the music department
- costumes, makeup, props, set pieces for the theatre department
- snacks, food, beverages for the members
One huge goal we have as an organization is making classes FREE for all participants and sustainable for our staffing.
Update: With the COVID-19 health crisis, like so many professional artists, the months worth of hard work our students put into our spring music concert and spring musical were rescheduled significantly and as of now, we are not able to celebrate their work to the fullest.
It would mean the world for these children if you shared even just a dollar towards their arts education. In times like these, we as a society need art and creative outlets more than ever before.
