Christopher Adair Jr. is battling a life-threatening condition called Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis (HLH).
February 15, 2017, Christopher came home from school with a sore throat. His mom took him to the doctor, and they started treating him for influenza. After he wasn't getting any better, he went back for a check up. The doctor then diagnosed Christopher with pneumonia. He had too much fluid in his lungs and had to be hospitalized. They life-flighted him to Sunrise Children's Hospital in Las Vegas, NV to get treatment. The doctors are trying everything to get Christopher healthy again. His poor little body has gone through so much, including multiple antibiotics, chest tubes, breathing machines, blood transfusions and so much more. With all the test that have been done, the doctor has finally gave us a diagnosis of this horrible condition, Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis (HLH). Christopher has a long road of treatment and recovery as they will be starting Chemotherapy tomorrow (3/24/17).
We need to help the Adair family overcome this hardship. Right now, Chris Sr. (dad) continues to work to provide for his family of 7 and Nicole (mama) is trying to balance being at Christopher Jr.'s bedside, caring for their 4 other children, and attending school. They are both having to drive a 4 hour roundtrip to Las Vegas almost every day to be there for their son. The whole family is devastated as we just want our Christopher happy, healthy and HOME.
