Send over 200 kids to Red Bulls Playoff Nov 8th! The New York Red Bulls have won the "Supporter's Shield" for having the best regular season record in Major League Soccer. Now the long road to the MLS Cup, the ultimate goal, begins. On Sunday, November 8th they will play what will hopefully be the first of three home matches leading to the MLS Cup final on December 6th.
Recently on social media (the Facebook Red Bulls Discussion Group to be precise) it was suggested that supporters donate money to help buy tickets for kids and their families who could not normally afford attending a game. I have organized the purchase of tickets and have 40 on hold which are already funded by myself and two other supporters. WE CAN BUY MANY MORE with your support. The goal, if fully funded, would purchase over 200 tickets for the Boys and Girls Club of Newark.
This is a grassroots effort by supporters to help those budding soccer fanatics who live near Red Bull Arena enjoy the Beautiful game - and hopefully learn the fun chants and songs led by the South Ward!
