Hope Tour

If you know me, you know that I'm extremely high maintenance. I grew up wanting the best of things, I never liked to rough it, I like to stay clean. That all changed last year when I visited Faith Hope Love Ranch in the Philippines. Of course, I went in true American fashion, believing that I was going to save those children. Little did I know that I was the one who truly needed saving. 

They blew my mind and showed me that I had been living my life so wrong for so long. Albeit, I still like to be clean and spend far too much time brushing my hair, I learned something on that trip - when you have everything it leaves little room for hope BUT when you have nothing, you can hope for the world.

Now, I find myself at a precipice, hoping for a better future in the midst of a pandemic. A passion burning in my heart to serve, a fire ignited to give back all that has been given to me. Which is what led me to YWAM. After training in Kona for three months, I will participate in a three month global outreach with a team. I have no idea where I'll be going but I have faith that I can be of service wherever I land. We are made to love one another, I hope to do just that on this mission.
