Ray of Hope Fund
Donation protected
Ray Carpenter is dean of business and professor of accounting at Indian River State College, but when you ask his colleagues and students WHO Ray Carpenter is, they will say he is the kindest, most sincere, most caring, funny, helpful, and all around best person they know. Of all people in the world, he is the last to deserve to be diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. In his mid-40's, in terrific physical shape, with a wife and two young children, Ray's life was turned upside down by this unforgiving diagnosis. The only hope to extend his life was intense radiation and chemo, which carried with it an extraordinary cost, both physically and financially. Those costs continue to climb every day.
On behalf of Ray's IRSC family, please consider a donation to help the most decent man I know, someone who taught thousands of students accounting, who has brought intelligence and leadership to administration, and who has added so much joy to our college community. We raise money in the hopes that we can help fund advanced treatment costs for Ray and allow his family to focus on the time they have with him rather than his rapidly accruing medical expenses.
Ray's time is waning; our time to act is NOW. Please help this family with a heartfelt donation to honor a truly great person.
