Ray Keim Memorial Scholarship Fund

As you may already know, my father, Ray Keim, has been battling liver cancer since January 2017. The last seven months have been difficult as the cancer and numerous infections have worn down his body, but not his spirit. This morning (Friday August 18th), Ray took his last breathe. As a family we want to do something that will symbolize the kind of person he was. During his life, he was a man who liked to give back to his nation and his community. He served in the following: Navy during Vietnam Era, Cresskill Board of Education for 10 years, President of the Cresskill Little League, Coach for Soccer/Baseball/Softball, a Eucharistic Minister at St. Therese, Knights of Columbus 4th degree, Knights of Columbus Color Corp, American Legion and VFW, crossing guard in Bergenfield, and volunteer at Englewood Hospital, the same institution that saw to his care.
To honor him, we would like to provide a graduating senior at Cresskill high school each year with a scholarship to continue their education. The ideal candidate would embody the values of community service and volunteerism while also achieving academic excellence. My mom (Lynn), brother (Ray), sister-in-law (Christine), and neice (Paisley), all thank you for your contributions and for helping recognize the life and memory of our loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, Ray Keim.
