Buddy was a husband, father, son, brother, admired uncle and, a loyal friend. Buddy’s love for life and infectious smile filled the room and you could always count on him for a good, funny, one liner that guaranteed a laugh.
He was fun, loving, authentic and honest. To those close to him, he was the guy that always kept it real and called it like he saw it. If you asked for his opinion, be prepared for “his truth.”
On November 18th, Buddy’s hard fought battle with bladder cancer ended; we lost our loved one and great friend, but Heaven certainly gained an angel.
Buddy’s passion for baseball, music and dancing, playing pool, LSU and the New Orleans Saints, was his connection to so many of the lives he touched. Though Buddy’s number was called way too soon, he’ll always be #20 in our thoughts and #1 in our hearts.
Buddy, you were truly one of a kind, the world was a better place with you and our lives have been forever enriched by being able to call you a friend. Though you’re physically not here with us, it is our promise to keep your spirit alive and cherish the memories we made together. You will be forever missed.

All proceeds will go directly to the Bridges Family to help them mitigate any unforeseen costs related to Buddy’s passing and help support them in the months to come.

The Celebration of Life will be on Sunday, 12/1/2019 at Mothe Funeral Home, located at 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA.
Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. with a service to follow.
