Ray Barron Strength & Honor Fund

This fund is established by the Barron family to develop a scholarship that honors and continues Ray Barron’s legacy by recognizing Colorado wrestlers who demonstrate strength and honor in all aspects of their lives. The funds will be handled by the Ray Barron Strength & Honor Fund's Board of Directors--Jennifer Paulson, Dan Curran, RC Myles, and Gail Barron. Once the fund has 501c(3) authorization, the funds will be removed from Go Fund Me and deposited into the fund's account.

This fund will serve as the scholarship's endowment and set up for perpetual awarding of scholarships to Colorado wrestlers each year. Please direct all memorials to this fund and in lieu of flowers for the family. Coach Barron spent most of his professional career in Colorado, contributing to the wrestling community in numerous ways, from encouraging other athletes to try wrestling to building legacy wrestling programs at Fort Lupton, Heritage, and Columbine High Schools to serving the Colorado High School Coaches Association. Though there are many, Coach Barron’s contributions aren’t about wins on the mat. They’re about the influence he, his programs, and his footprint in Colorado wrestling had on many young athletes.
