Rachel Ashley Worship Project

I’m really excited to share with you I'll be going into the recording studio to begin work on my first worship project. This is something that I have been dreaming of doing for a long time.

I realized from a very early age that the Lord placed a true love for music in my heart. I became more passionate about sharing my faith through music and knew that I had to wake up every day and make music my career. Each and every opportunity I had to play any instrument I could get my hands on and sing helped me to focus in on my life's calling -- leading worship for the Church.

Currently, I'm leading worship at North Highland Church in Columbus, GA.

Over the last 5 years, I've learned that a lot of our current communication is delivered through media and music - and the most honest and authentic worship music is a reflection of what is happening in the church, not simply a collection of songs we might sing in a church service. My goal is that this project will unearth a sound and message that captures what God is doing in my life and in our community.

Over the years, many of you have encouraged me to write my own worship songs and record a worship album… so, here we go! I'm asking that you would partner with me to make this project the very best it can be. My heart is to see God glorified through every song on this project.

I’m also super pumped that I’m going to be accomplishing all of this with my family and close friends. My brother-in-law Jered Schuerman will be engineering and producing this project at the Murray Sound Lab in Marietta, GA. This place is amazing! He's worked with some incredible artists, and I'm very excited to see what he and his team are going to bring to this project.
