Nothing is worse than hearing that someone you love has Cancer. It's even harder when it's your parent. During an appointment in mid March our father was diagnosed with Stage 4 Esophageal cancer which is rare. Life holds no guarantees, but knowing this doesn’t make it any easier when we face a medical crisis. For the last couple of months I have been applying for financial assistance across the board to assist with the out of pocket medical costs and have been faced with being denied each time due to our dad's income which is limited. We have incurred and are continuing to incur massive medical bills associated with procedures to prolong our dad’s life as he fights this aggressive form of cancer. This was my last resort and putting pride aside I have set up this Go Fund in an effort to seek financial help at this time. Those of you who had the opportunity of being in our dad's presence know he was like the Energizer bunny, very outgoing with an abundance of personality as well as a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He accepts God's will for his life and taking one day at a time.
