Randy Roger's Brothers...

Randy's brothers.

Clearly,  Randy Rogers has been the heart of the Brotherhood of Harmony Chorus in Schaumburg, Illinois, for many years.

As his brothers, we are reaching out for financial assistance for his wife, Chris, and son Jonathon, to assist with his incredible medical expenses.  Randy died at home, just one day after entering hospice care, on Friday night, February 16th , surrounded by his family and his dad, Max.

Randy survived a battle with colon cancer several years ago and then was hit with lymphoma.

In December 2017 (on the day of his barbershop chorus holiday show) he was dizzy, not feeling well and checked into the hospital where they discovered two cancerous brain tumors.

Randy underwent chemo and his original brain tumors had shrunk some after the massive chemo treatment. Unfortunately, this lowered his immune system, and he ended up getting a bacteria that starting killing the tissue on the left side of his body. He subsequently missed two additional chemo treatments and instead endured several surgeries to remove dead tissue that was causing a massive infection. Randy's two brain tumors grew to twice their original size and have put him in grave danger.

As his brothers, the Brotherhood of Harmony Chorus is reaching out to his neighbors, business colleagues, barbershoppers, and friends to raise money for the significant medical bills that his family faces.

No donation is too small; all donations will be appreciated!

Randy is a longtime  member of the Illinois District of the Barbershop Harmony Society.  He has been incredibly active in the Brotherhood of Harmony Chorus as lead section leader, soloist, show chair, tag master extraordinaire, and active quatet member.   Through all of his years in the Brotherhood, he was proud to share his love for barbershop harmony standing on the risers with his dad, Max.

His quartet, Q'd Up (with members Rob Pethes, Dave Boo and Matt MacFadyen), has consistently been a top-level district competitor.

If you have enjoyed watching Randy on stage or have sung a tag with him - kindly consider making a donation in support of his family.

Randy is pictured below singing with Bob Squires, Rob Pethes and Dave Cowin.

Thank you.
