If you’ve been lucky enough to work at PGD... or even if you’ve traveled through this airport in Southwest Florida, you have been impacted by Randy Sisk.

Even before Allegiant began turning this sleepy Florida town into a hub for vacation travelers, Randy could be found cranking the wheels of hard work that makes an airport run.

In early 2013, when Allegiant’s base at PGD was brand new, Randy worked for Quick Flight. It was clear to pilots, flight attendants and other ground personnel who the go-to guy was when it came to ensuring flights left on time, in a safe and effective manner. From pushing wheelchairs to pushing aircraft, Randy set the tone and example for every employee.

Anyone familiar with the airline industry knows that flexibility is the main ingredient to having a successful career. It could be 0400 or in the middle of a 20-degree cold snap. Aircrafts could be experiencing weather or maintenance delays. Irregular operations can be caused by anything from hurricanes to air shows. And yet Randy continuously finds ways to adapt, innovate and motivate others to do the same.

When Worldwide Flight Services took over ground operations for Allegiant at PGD, Randy persisted. Countless coworkers can recall times when they’ve worked with him, side-by-side, cleaning planes, assisting with security sweeps, working with the TSA, mechanics, FAA and beyond. Randy isn’t trying to be a one-man show. He’s just being who he is, helping wherever he can to make sure the job gets done.

At one point in his career, Randy had the opportunity to mentor the son of an Allegiant Flight Attendant. This young man was getting ready to enlist in the US Navy. His parents knew that Randy would be the perfect role model to encourage hard work, ethical decision-making and being focused on whatever mission one is faced with.

From employees that have been with Allegiant or Worldwide for many years, to the newest of workers, to anyone in between, Randy has impacted each and every person. If Allegiant’s customers knew every piece of the puzzle that goes into safe and convenient air travel, they also would know that they’ve been positively affected by the great work Randy has done over the years.

Now, we’d like to thank Randy in the most personal way possible for everything he has accomplished throughout the years. Recently, he received a diagnosis of bone cancer that has subsequently spread to his lungs. To assist with medical bills, prescriptions and any other unexpected costs that come with a medical issue of this nature, we are asking for your help.

Please consider his hard work and dedication, along with Randy’s commitment to the safety of our customers. Also, take a moment to think about a time when Randy Sisk has motivated you through his daily actions.

Together, we can help keep Randy focused on his fight and relieve a bit of the stress he may be under.

Thank you for sharing with friends, families and neighbors. And thanks for your assistance!
