Dear Friends and family,
If you're receiving this email then you're certainly very close to our Brother and friend Randy Morgan.
One thing we all know about Randy; he's a hard working, private and very proud Man.
Hence me writing this personal letter in spite of his prideful disposition....but with permission ❤
17 years ago Randy was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, then was immediately informed that it was coupled with Neuropathy, which is a condition that deadens the nerves in the feet. Randy has endured multiple foot surgeries and most recently, 2 toe amputations. Randy is an optimist and this did not deter him. He was ready to move forward after the surgery.
On the day he was to leave the hospital, his doctor informed him of an "accidental find." Randy's final X-Rays showed a tumor the size of a golf ball and the oncologist stepped in and confirmed he has Stage 4 Lung Cancer.
Devastated, Randy and I sat and cried together. Being at his side at this moment I shared the shock and could see the fear in the face of my brother --a family man with a wife and 7-children. I knew at that moment he was thinking of them.
We've had a few days to process this information and he's ready to fight for his life.
Right now he needs you to fight too. I'm reaching out to our closest friends and family members with a call to action.
We're seeking to raise funds to assist Randy with the continuous ongoing medical expenses that insurance DOES NOT cover.
The struggle is real, the surgeries, prescriptions, & daily life's expenses are starting to build up since he's been in the hospital over 17+ days!
I'm putting a Go Fund-Me page on social media today but I didn't want to catch you off guard and shock you, respectively. I'm asking for 2 things. Can you donate $ funds and repost my page for Randy Morgan?
