Randy Davenport - needs OUR HELP!

Donation protected

On November 5, 2017, Randy Davenport, the Upwards Baseball & Basketball coach at Temple Church in New Bern, NC, has recently had a stroke.

I've known Randy for many years, and have gotten to know him better through church.

Another friend, Mary Ammon,  wrote about her first visit with him two days later:

"Upon arrival finding the horrible news of his massive stroke and blood clot on his brain, no movement on the right side of his body and he could not speak..The outlook getting worse as the night progressed. We started praying and haven't stopped..."

Two days later, Mary wrote:

"Well God showed off a little this morning when the neurosurgeon came in and said I can't explain it in any scientific terms looking at these tests but the SWELLING WENT DOWN. Melody (Randy's wife) immediately said I know what it is..Jesus! We have an Army of prayer warriors praying for Randy! The neurosurgeon said..Well if you need to keep praying then!"

Tonight, I'm starting this "GoFundMe" account - in prayer - that his family and friends will help ease thier financial burden.  Today's date is November 23, 2017, and - yes - he's still in the hospital, with an expected release date of December 7, 2017.

Like you and me, Randy & Melody still have bills to pay - let alone the hospital bill sure to come.

THIS GoFundMe account is being set up by a friend of his - who himself was in Vidant hospital - for a mere two weeks - and someone else cared enough about me to set up a GoFundMe that came in very handy.

So let's join hands together, and help Randy & Melody out, can't we?
