Chemo #5 Her oncologist was happy with how her pet scan looked. Cancer is responding well to the chemo. She will have 3 treatments left after today. No radiation needed at this time. Praise God

Here goes…. On April 27th, I took Ramsie to the doctor as she has been having trouble with her breathing. We had been to the chiropractor multiple times thinking she had a rib out of place. We had no idea just how wrong we were. Your daughter has cancer…. Our world was flipped upside down. Ramsie has a large mass in her chest surrounding her heart. Hence why she is having difficulty breathing. On Friday April 28th we were admitted to the Sanford Children’s Hospital. On Saturday April 29th they did a biopsy. Results came back inconclusive. On Tuesday May 2nd, she had her PET SCAN. They found more cancer in her lymph nodes in her neck. On Wednesday May 3rd, they went in for a more invasive biopsy. This was high risk due to putting her under can very easily put her into cardiac arrest at this point. But praise God she made it through. She has a picc line in her left arm. On Thursday May 4th her oncologist decided that Ramsie could come home while we wait to get results from her second biopsy. So, here we are. Waiting. Scared, angry, & just down right terrified. My baby has cancer. Words I never thought I would have to say. She is a true warrior. My absolute hero. She is a fighter & by the grace of God, we WILL beat this.
