Ramsey Medical Expenses

My family is in great need of help. I, my wife, and our four children have been forced from our home due to toxic mold. My wife has been suffering for the last 6-7 years with major health problems including loss of consciousness, migraines, trouble with basic motor skills, and much more. After seeing many doctors, she recently found one who correctly diagnosed her with brain damage, along with an antibiotic resistant staph infection in her head, both due to toxic mold. We then tested our house, which tested positive, and were forced to purchase and move into a camper while we had a company remediate the house. Our children have also had quite a few unexplained health problems the last few years. Because of the severity of my wife’s case, the children’s symptoms, and because of how long we lived in the toxic mold, our doctors recommended that we get them tested for mold toxicity as soon as possible. Unfortunately, our home owners insurance denied us any help with the cost of remediation, and medical insurance is not going to cover the majority of the tests for the children. We have tried everything we can to not ask for help.  We have cut down our expenses anywhere we could, and have even sold off the majority of the farm we spent the last three years trying to get started. Even with all of this, we just can’t make it on our own and are asking for your help. This has already cost us over $50,000 in damages, but we are only asking for the amount the doctors estimate we will need for medical testing and treatment for our family.
