On August 30, 2019 a two car crash claimed the life of 10 year old, Ramiah Elizabeth Leonard. Ramiah was an energetic, passionate, lively young girl who had her whole life ahead of her. She had dreams of attending Spelman College to be an entrepreneur, a cosmetologist, a makeup artist, and a teacher.

Full of personality and zest, Ramiah was the true definition of a princess. In love with everything girly; she collected lip gloss, hair bands and  any kind of jewelry. Ramiah was a great singer who loved music; she loved Queen Naija, H.E.R and the City Girlz.

She loved shoes, clothes, dresses and the color purple. She enjoyed attending church every Sunday with her family, watching her father preach. She was Oxford High School's biggest fan and never missed a chance to cheer her older brother, Eugene Leonard III, on during his basketball games. Ramiah loved Starbuck's coffee and had to have it every time that she asked for it. She was a great friend and classmate.

Ramiah's mother, Rasheda Leonard , was her best friend in the entire world. They spent every day together. Whether it was getting mani-pedis, movie dates, staying up all night baking or just going to Quintard Mall to get their daily Chik-Fil-A meal; the two spent so much time together. Ramiah and her mom went shopping frequently, often choosing matching outfits and shoes. Ramiah loved life and her family but her mom was her right hand lady and they were inseparable.

Loved by so many people, Ramiah lived an amazing 10 years of life. Her life was cut short on August 30th on her way to school with her mother. She was in fifth grade at Oxford Elementary School in Oxford, Alabama. In honor of her life, we will continue to celebrate the 10 years that God gave us with her. We are in the process of establishing The Ramiah Leonard Legacy Foundation and we hope that you will join us in our efforts. The foundation will be utilized as a beacon of hope and resource for children as they matriculate their way through various educational settings. We thank you all in advance for any contributions that you all make and we ask that you continue to keep us lifted in prayer going forward.
