Hello Everyone,
My name is Hiro, and I own Ramen by UZU, located in Union Market DC. On Monday, March 23, 2020 UZU closed its doors to our guests because of COVID-19.
It was the hardest decision to make, but I just couldn't stay open and risk the health of my employees; we are a small team, and we are family. We all worked hard together since day one to get to where we are. We are also fortunate to have had huge support from the community day in and day out. I'm still doing Ramen DIY kits to help my team, but it's not enough. So, I decided to do something that I've never done before and created a GoFundMe page, where 100% of proceeds will go towards my team.
I completely understand it's a tough time for everybody. I'm not really good at asking people for help, but this time there's no choice to get through without your support. Anything helps.
