Ramadan Yemen Appeal by Slough Islamic Trust

Slough Islamic Trust have teamed up with Asian Star Radio  to help raise awareness and money for Yemen.  Over 5 million children are malnourished in Yemen.  Half a million of them are suffering from extreme hunger.  On average, one child under the age of 5 dies of preventable causes every 10 minutes. Asian Star Radio 101.6fm and Slough Islamic Trust are working alongside Good deed Charity organisation who are registered locally in Yemen so that your money can reach the people directly who need it.  Each food parcel costs just £30 a month for one family, it consists of 10kg of rice, 25kg flour, 5kg sugar, 25 tins of beans and 5ltrs oil. People are suffering from Cholera due to lack of clean water.  Providing one family water per week costs £20, if we provide a whole neighbourhood for a month this would cost £200. Orphan sponsorship, £20 per month for one child or £240 per year, this will provide food, clothes and education. Currently we are providing daily iftar for more than 300 families. Prophet Muhammad PBUH said; “Whoever provides the food for a fasting person to break his fast with, then for him is the same reward as his (the fasting person’s), without anything being diminished from the reward of the fasting person.”(Narrated by Tirmidhi) 100% Donation policy.
