Ralph Esten Benefit

One of our members, Ralph Esten needs help. On September 23, 2011, Ralph, at the age of 31, was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme, an aggressive cancerous brain tumor. Ralph was given 8-15 months to live, with treatment. Ralph had brain surgery, 33 radiation treatments, 2 different kinds of chemotherapy and countless MRIs, but successfully beat the tumor. Ralph also suffered a stroke during month 23 of chemo and couldn’t move much of his right side. As you can imagine, that is life-changing for Ralph and his family.

After all of that turbulence in his life, Ralph decided to try CrossFit at our gym in 2016. Ralph lost a tremendous about of weight, strengthened some motor skills that were lost and gained a new lease on life. It is 2018 and Ralph has made it this far. Recently Ralph was informed that the tumor has returned and there is always a possibility of it being cancer.. Ralph is scheduled for surgery early February. As you can imagine, the costs are astronomical and with our amazing CrossFit community, we think we can help out!

On April 7, 2018, CrossFit Silver Fox is holding a benefit for Ralph. We are holding two workouts at 7 & 9am. We will have a Chinese auction going on from 7-10am also.

We are asking local businesses for donations. Monetary donations are amazing, but items for The Chinese auction are great too.. Donations can also be mailed to the address below. Any check can be made payable to Ralph Esten. Thanks so much.
