Recovery Rally for Melissa
Donation protected
From Melissa's family...
Over the past few months, Melissa was having flu-like symptoms that led her down a road none of us imagined. Doctor by doctor, she arrived to a diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). This strong, beautiful woman - daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend - has taken care of so many of us, and now we have the privilege to help her.
Our graceful, brave, positive, and loving Melissa is ready to fight AML and win!
How your donation will help...
People are asking us how they can help. While we are thankful that Melissa has health insurance, we also know that many costs, like copays, will begin to come in and add up quickly. In addition, there will be costs for meals, transportation, and all the little things we may not even realize yet.
If you know Melissa, you know how generous and warm she is. Her selflessness can make it hard for her to be a recipient at times. Now is the time for her to receive, allow us to lessen her financial stressors, and to focus on her FULL recovery.
Any contribution from you is greatly appreciated and received with humility. Your prayers are greatly appreciated too!
Follow along...
Melissa begins a 28-day inpatient treatment on 12/15/17. You can also follow her journey at: https://www.facebook.com/melissasjourneytorecovery/
We thank you all for your prayers, your words of encouragement, your acts of kindness, and your donations.
"Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her!” - Luke 1:45
