Rally together to help Jason Ellis
Donation protected
As some of you may or may not know. One of our green family Jason Ellis was recently diagnosed with Acute promyelocytic leukemia. He has a tough 60 day road of intense chemo and treatnent ahead of him, and potentially a long recovery out of work, possibly exceeding 12 months.
Acute promyelocytic leukemia (APML, APL) is a subtype of acute myeloid leukemia (AML), a cancerof the white blood cells. In APL, there is an abnormal accumulation of immature granulocytescalled promyelocytes. The disease is characterized by a chromosomal translocation involving the retinoic acid receptor alpha (RARα or RARA) gene and is distinguished from other forms of AML by its responsiveness to all-trans retinoic acid (ATRA; also known as tretinoin) therapy.
Let's all rally together to help Jason in his time of need whilst supporting his loving family.
