Rally for Robin's Cancer Fight

My name is Dave Sanza. I’m the son of Robin and “Big Dave,” the brother of Jenn and Brittany, the husband of Ashley and the father of three amazing kiddos: Peyton, Kennedy and Camden. Together, our family has been procrastinating, not wanting to admit that reality is bearing down on the Sanza Family, but the truth is we need your help…. On July 23, Mom was rushed to the hospital, complaining of an excruciating headache and nausea. For a lady that never seemed to get sick while we were growing up, you can imagine how devastated we all were when the doctors announced that they had found 8 tumors in her brain, along with one in her lung. Her diagnosis was “Stage 4 - Inoperable Non Small Cell Lung Cancer,” which had metastasized to her brain and spine. Immediately she underwent surgery to relieve the pressure in her brain as a temporary fix, but she needed more brain surgery 5 days later to remove one of the tumors in order save her life. She spent 9 days in the ICU, and has bravely faced an uphill battle ever since.

The future for Mom includes expensive treatments including both chemotherapy and radiation. She needs PT for balance issues, and requires countless medications to keep her comfortable. She is unable to work, and even though my Dad is working, her medical bills are mounting and will soon become overwhelming . . . which is why we are asking for your help. Our Matriarch is facing this monster called cancer head on, with such dignity and courage that it brings us to our knees. She reminds us daily that we need to concentrate on what we have, not what we don’t have, but our constant worry about her bills, and what the future holds, makes that almost impossible.  Any help you can give will be so greatly appreciated!!
