CALLING ALL CREW, FRIENDS AND FAMILY!!!!!!
As some of you may or may not know our girl Melissa Robbins is in a very bad way right now and could really use our help.
Last Monday evening Melissa checked herself into the hospital because of severe lower back/abdominal pain. While I’m sure what she thought would be a short nights stay in the ER turned into somethig much, much worse. The doctors discovered that what she has is an acute pancreatitis, which is basically a sudden inflamation of the pancreas. While mild cases can easily be treated with consevative measures, It can also have severe complications and high mortality despite treatment. Unfortuantely for Melissa it is the latter........
Right now she is in the ICU at Harbor UCLA in Torrance. The doctors have her in an incubated state to try and get the infection under control. She is on a breathing tube as well but I just recieved word this morning that there is a strong likihood that they will be removing the breathing tube this afternoon and, fingers crossed, she will able to breath on her own! Unfortunately they aren’t sure how long she will be in the hospital and she is going to need all the physical and emotional help she can get when she does get out, so lets try and help lighten the financial burden as much as we can for her. C’mon guys, you know Melissa’s been there for many of your shows, events, birthdays, benefits and celebrations, so now its payback time. I will be updating this as often as things happen, so keep checking back.

If anyone would like to visit her she is in the ICU at Harbor UCLA Torrance, Floor 5, Room 5. She can not move or speak but rest assured she will know you’re there and she can hear you.
