Rally Behind Melissa and Her Fight Against Breast Cancer

Hi, my name is Lauren, and I created this GOFUNDME account to help ease the financial burden for Melissa Grasso while she is undergoing treatment for Grade 3, Stage II, Triple Negative Breast Cancer.

Melissa is an otherwise healthy 38-year-old woman. She found the lump in her breast at the end of January of 2024. After some extensive testing, she received the devastating news of her diagnosis on February 14, 2024.

For those of you that aren't aware of Triple Negative Breast Cancer, it's one of the most aggressive forms and has fewer treatment options. Thankfully, chemotherapy is an option for Melissa.

She started her chemotherapy on March 22, 2024. She's been scheduled for a total of 8 treatments, having completed 3 so far. Melissa will also start immunotherapy tomorrow, April 15th. Once her chemotherapy is finished, she will undergo a double mastectomy due to her being BRCA 1 positive. After her double mastectomy, she will go through the breast reconstruction process.

Even though she has health insurance, it will not cover all of her medical expenses. Needless to say, the medical bills are quickly adding up. If you could please find it in your heart to
