Raising Zack

So as most of you have heard Rich Cornelssen passed away at work on September 22 leaving behind a 14 year old child named Zack.  Zack's mother is unable to care for him so Rich's mother Nancy has assumed the role of raising Zack.  Nancy and Doug are financially stable on their own but will struggle without extra funds to raise Zack.  Rich had life insurance and RRSP's through work but sadly the beneficiery was not anyone in his family.  With the autopsy possibly taking months assistance from WCB will not be anytime soon and as Rich did not have a will his family cannot even proceed with anything on his behalf until after some court proceedings which will take at least a month.  The money will be used for all the day to day costs for raising this child.
