Raising money for Mommy
A few weeks ago, I got a call to tell me that my mommy had been rushed to the hospital after suffering several strokes and had bleeding in her brain. I was on a plane the very next day to get to her. I just want to thank EVERYONE for keeping us in your thoughts and in your prayers.
Thank you to my mommys amazing husband Jeff for being the strength she needed and for taking such amazing care of her. Thank you to all my friends and family for praying for her and giving us your support and compassion. I can't thank you enough...
Thank you to the amazing airline Delta, that I am SO proud to work for, for allowing me to get to my mommy as fast as I did.
Thank you to my Manager Mr. Smart, my OSM Stephanie Williams and my Red Coat & amazing friend Zoe Smith for allowing me to have the time off and for sorting out everything with my ticket.
Thank you to my all of my amazing coworkers in Bermuda for keeping check-in open for me and making sure I got on my plane. ❤
Thank you to my best friend Brandi Smith, my amazing sister Holly, and my wonderful boyfriend Craig for talking to me whenever I needed you and being my support system. I couldn’t have done it without any of you.
Thank you to all the doctors and nurses in Huntington and in Parkview Hospital for giving my mommy the amazing care and support that she received. Thank you for saving her life... ❤
My mommy is doing so much better but this chapter in our lives is far from over. Every week she has more follow - ups, tests, procedures... She has a long way to go.
With all of the care that she needed when she initially fell ill and with all the things still yet to come, the medical bills have begun to accumulate. Her medical bills are taking a huge toll, even with insurance. We are asking for help to get the bills that insurance does not cover under control.
Please continue to pray for my mommy and share our story. Every little bit will help.
