Raising for Ritzi:
Ritzi, my 7 year old, adventure-seeking terrier, is in need of your support. She recently ruptured her anterior (Cranial) Cruciate Ligament, more commonly known as the ACL in humans. As you would expect the surgery is very expensive. However, without the surgery she would not regain full mobility of her knee and would costantly be in a state of pain.
Current Situation:
Obviously, this isn’t something we could have known would happen, and of course, it’s the worst time of year to ask for help. I know with it being so close to Christmas, many don't have extra money to spend. My current situation is also a little tricky, which is why I’m asking for help. I’m finishing up my last semester in graduate school and just recently accepted a career opportunity in another state, starting in February, which will require me moving out of state mid-January.
How to Help:
I’ve had Ritzi since she was 12 weeks old, she’s my first dog and without her I would be lost. I love her just like a child and it kills me to see her in pain.
Ritzi is so playful and sweet, she loves to play fetch and meet new people. She’s made so many friends at the dog park, that people recognize her as the dog that catches the Frisbee. Never to have met a stranger, she’s the friendliest dog you’ll ever meet. It’s so sad to see her so down and unable to do the things she loves.
To help raise awareness for this page, I’m asking all of our furry friends to post pictures of their fur babies doing a trick they love and having fun for Ritzi.
