Raising vet bills for PRS SOFIE

Please meet SOFIE who was rescued with her friend our new male Pointer, PRS GSP LUTZ. 

Rescued just 7 days ago from the same kill shelter that we took four from back in February, SOFIE is in very poor shape due to the conditions that she has been living in. It's up to us now to get her feeling better and to address her Heartworm costs. 

SOFIE is a young mix breed and around 2 years old. Poor SOFIE is
*Heartworm postive
*Fever 40.9
*Full off Ticks and fleas
*Ear inflammation
*Urinary tract infection
*one tooth is broken and needs urgent attention
*Babesia (from tick bites)
*Respiratory inflammation
*Fat tissue/cyst under one of her nipples
*An aggressive skin condition streptococcus


From SOFIE’s body weight our vet has estimated roughly the cost to be £1000, maybe more but we will need to wait and see. SOFIE also has Heartworm which will need to be treated as soon as she’s released from the vet clinic.
