Flood relief for the Laengers

Donation protected
I'm deeply saddened to start this GoFundMe page. This Hurricane Harvey hit really close to Home as they are family  and we are also in the affected area. But, I know this will help a lot with not only short term needs like food and clothing but longterm needs like a car and home. Misty and Aaron are always the type of people that help others in any way they can. We thank God everyday for having them as family. They have beautiful souls and they pour out love to those in need.

I'm asking the community, friends and family that know Misty and Aaron personally to reach out and donate what they possibly can. I can't even begin to imagine what they are going through! They lost everything they worked so hard to get, in this terrible flood. When the water started rising, they tried to put everything up top, that way if the water came in, at least the stuff in the top shelves would be ok. But, nobody even thought the water would be up to their roof. When they were evacuating they were in good spirits thinking they were only doing so to not get stuck without food. They had no idea the water would get so high for a house that is not in a flood zone. Our family is extraordinary and has helped them with donating their things to them. We are helping them with clothes, food, shelter, and anything else they need immediately but they will need more. They don't want to take in too many things right now though, since they don't know where to put everything. They don't have a home, cars or even a suitcase to put it in.

Once the water recedes they're going to try to salvage their things. Many have told them though, that clothes, toys, and baby things will not be salvageable since flood waters are usually mixed with sewage water. I think right now what would help them the most is monetary donations. To pay the mortgage they still have, the car payments they still have, and other monthly bills. As well as be able to get the many things they will need as they rebuild their lives.

Aaron is a Chaplain in the Army Reserves and took an oath to assist military members and fellow americans. Now is the time that he and his family are in need of assistance. Anything you can give will be extremely helpful. I really appreciate you taking the time to read this. Thank you so much for your time! Prayers are greatly appreciated as well!
