Raising funds to repair Hindley Town Football Club Pitch

Following a targeted and devastating act of vandalism to the pitch at Hindley Town Football Club this week, we have been left with no choice but to turn to our local and football community for help.

Even more crucially at this time of year, specialist equipment is required just to be able to make the pitch a safe, playable surface again.

The football club is a volunteer-run group. We are reliant on goodwill of local people, along with subs being paid by our members - subs that are purposely just enough to cover winter training, in an attempt to keep football affordable.

Vandalism such as this leaves the club having to find funds to recover that unfortunately just aren't there. The club are left counting the cost of repairs, and so are looking to raise enough money make sure our teams can continue their seasons relatively un-affected.
