Raising funds for replacement of things lost in the fire

Hi, my names Des. I'm setting up this fundraiser to help us raise some funds to replace the things Mum and me have lost in the house fire that took place on Monday 6th May. We unfortunately lost a lot of belongings that we cannot afford to replace ourselves including clothes, kitchenware, and dining room table benches. (Table somehow survived so we can salvage that!) Even the pets lost all their toys and food. We left the property with the clothes on our backs, the pets and whatever soot covered clothes we could salvage and clean up. Soot has damaged the entire property inside, the beds will require new mattresses and carpets are ruined.

Mum has lived in the property for just shy of 30 years and the home means a lot to her. Memories have been made within those 4 walls, including the upbringing of us kids. Over the years she has worked hard to create the home we had. But sadly that hard work and dedication has been soiled and now forced to start again.

The funds raised for this will be used to replace any soft furnishings that have been ruined, and allow us to buy the essentials we need to start again. It would mean a great deal to us, any help we can get would be massively appreciated!
