Raising Funds for Funeral costs Due to COVID-19

Sadly on Saturday the 4th of April 2020, Our Mother Sylvia Elaine Harthen lost her battle to COVID-19.
She was 73 years old, and she fought hard for 7 days on a ventilator in Morriston ICU, Swansea, but unfortunately she couldn't fight anymore and her organs began shutting down.
We were unable to be by her side and say our goodbye's, but thankfully she was not alone as 2 lovely nurses stayed by her side talking to her and holding her hands until the end.
Our Mother was a kind caring person who would do anything for anyone, stranger or friend.
She dedicated herself volunteering for many charities and organisations within the community, and went above and beyond her roles. She was loved and known by many.
If you were in need, she would go without, without saying a word not expecting it to be reciprocated.
She endured many struggles throughout her life, but always smiled and spoke to everyone.
Covid-19 was a cruel way for her life to end, especially not being able to be surrounded by her family whom she doted on, and be given the opportunity to say good bye.
She was a loving Mother to 3 living Daughters and 10 Grandchildren which she dedicated her life to.
She was dedicated to her faith and was an integrated part of her church for over 50 years with unwavering devotion and belief.
We would love to be able to give our Mother the Burial she deserves along with a grave stone. And when this Pandemic ends we would like to organise a large celebration to celebrate her life among all of her hundreds of friends, family and acquaintances.
If there are any funds over, as a family we would then do something in her remembrance no matter how small.
Unfortunately due to the sudden impact of this virus, our mother did not have an active life insurance policy, and her time ended before she could put another in place.
Please help us give our Mother the best in death, as it was such a cruel end to such a selfless, loving and dedicated human being.
