Raising Emma

Hi, I'm Emma. I have a rare chromosomal disorder that affects my brain. My disorder caused my vocal cords to be paralyzed at birth, which is why I have a trach and a feeding tube. It also causes me to have seizures.  Because of all these health issues, I require 24/7 care.  All of my medical needs result in my family having never-ending enormous medical expenses due to high deductibles, out of pocket costs and special needs  that are not covered by insurance . There are things that could improve life for me and my family.  An electric lift would help those caring for me be able to move me from place to place. A floor sitter would be great so I don’t have to lay down to play all of the time. Easing the burden of my ongoing medical bills would greatly help my family.
