Raising $11k To Help Nadine Triumph Over Endo!

Our darling friend Nadine Dirks needs money to battle a severe case of endometriosis and we're asking you for help please!
Nadine is 24, from Bellville (Cape Town, South Africa) and about to embark, as a recent graduate, on an amazing next chapter of her life. But Nadine has a chronic and painful condition called Stage 4 endometriosis: Category 4: Deep infiltrating endometriosis which is not just a major obstacle to her living & thriving but, without exaggeration, “can be fatal if left untreated ”.
Nadine has long suffered from this painful condition but doctors have ignored her pleas for healthcare solutions ; dismissing it in racial and gendered terms. Her endometriosis deteriorated to Stage 4 before she was even officially diagnosed, finally, in 2014. And now it's reached new lows; beginning to impact her even more due to a growing endometrioma on her left side causing decreased kidney function, bowel issues, and causing nerve pain in her legs affecting her ability to walk.
Nadine needs urgent medical intervention but cannot afford it. SA public hospitals are delaying any 'elective' procedures until Covid is manageable. This is great for pandemic management but not so great for Nadine, who cannot for health reasons wait any more months and years between MRIs, results and referrals to renal specialists, for example (yes, this has happened).
It has been exactly a decade of waiting and hoping for better outcomes with poor service from public hospitals. As a result, her condition has worsened significantly.
We would love to raise R150,000 (roughly $11,000 USD) to ensure Nadine can visit the best specialists and get the best treatment to help her defeat endometriosis to a point where she can live a healthy and flourishing life. All medical reports can be made available.
Nadine is on the cusp of a new path in her young life yet each time she rises endometriosis seems like it's standing there, waiting to drag her down. This has had extreme psycho-social impacts on Nadine’s life, as you can imagine.
As her friends we say 'no more!' We want to see this beautiful soul flourish and live the long life that should be ahead of her.
