Vernon Malone Family Rebuilding Hope Fund

Donation protected
When Hurricane Dorian made landfall on Elbow Cay, Abaco, Bahamas it changed the lives of its residents forever. Vernon Malone, grocer, baker, marriage officiant, recipient of the Queen's Certificate and Badge of Honor and his wife of almost 51 years lost their home in the storm. Vernon's Grocery and Upper Crust Bakery known world wide for its Key Lime Pies, homemade bread and sayings on the wall was their shelter during the Category 5 hurricane, now known to be the most powerful storm in Atlantic Hurricane history.
Their son-in-law rode out the storm in his home, the Wine Down Sip-Sip building while his daughter and grandson were Stateside. The Sip Sip building is standing and got water damaged however their other business was destroyed.
It will be a long time until power is restored, homes rebuilt and tourism,  the main source of income for the family  returns to the Abacos.
We, Team Malone, are "Raisin Dough" to help our Hope Town family rebuild hope and their lives during the long months ahead.
We thank you for your support.
The funds donated will be placed in an account overseen by Vernon's grandson Charles.
